This is the first course of Usui (traditional) Reiki but not your typical Reiki class! Two full days of class will give you the strong foundation and extra practice time you need to feel confident in your new found healing abilities. You won't find a more thorough Reiki I class out there!
In Reiki I, ancient sacred knowledge and healing energy is passed on from teacher to student. We will study the history of Reiki, it's application, opening the Chakras, body scanning, the aura, psychic protection, ethics of energy work, how Reiki heals the body and more. We will also explore the spiritual, intuitive and psychic aspects of energy healing, mind-body connection, past life issues, how to get to the real root of a problem, the use of a pendulum for reading Chakras and more. This class includes hands on practice time. Students will receive the Reiki I attunement, thorough instruction manual and Reiki I certificate becoming Certified Reiki Level One Practitioners allowing them to do Reiki on themselves, family, friends and pets.

Wednesday's class is the perfect way to end your “hump day”. A nice mid-week break for your body, that allows you to get in touch with how your body is working this week. A mix of challenge and relaxation, this class is the perfect class for total beginners. If you have never tried yoga this class is for you. My Wednesday students are all regular people who are trying to keep and gain some flexibility and strength while learning the fine art of relaxation and breath techniques. In other words, this is not your typical serious yoga class. If you are stressed at work or home and/or feeling that your body could move better—then this is the class for you. You will learn how to keep your mind, body and spirit moving and grooving in this class—at your own pace with a great group of like minded, like bodied other students all seeking more flexibility and relaxation, in a non judgmental, fun atmosphere.
Stephanie Blaisdell received her 200 hour yoga teacher training from Inner Peace Yoga School 6 years ago and has been teaching weekly since. She is a Board Certified Massage Therapist who has been practicing massage and bodywork for the last 10 years and has been working as a Whole Health Educator for the last 8 years. She began her journey into healing over 20 years ago and utilizes her extensive education, experiences and trainings in every class she teaches. Her goal as a teacher is to help you become connected with your body. Most people (myself included) spend our time up in our heads, basically ignoring our bodies. By taking the time to settle into your body you learn how your body works, communicates and feels. The more comfortable you can be in your body the better your quality of life will be, in every aspect. Yoga means to unite—to unite body, mind and spirit. By settling into your body you calm the mind and can allow the spirit to flow….this is the goal of all her practices and her aim in teaching yoga to the “unbendable” people. Who is the Goddess?….what is the entity or energy we call the Divine Feminine?…who are her archetypes and how can we embrace her to add healing, empowerment and beauty into our lives? This 2 hour workshop delves into the source of the energy from which Jo works with. The word Goddess, is used frequently and sometimes inaccurately. We will discuss the origins of the Goddess and I will introduce you to her many faces and personalities, ones that I have painted, and others that you may or may not have heard of. Each month Lotus Girls will explore a new theme and include a fun connection exercise, yoga, and a group project. We create a supportive community where girls enjoy meeting other like minded girls. April theme is Karma. Lotus girls will learn about the law of cause and effect, discuss and share experiences related to karma. Lotus girls will play games related to the theme of the month, explore guided imagery and listen to a story. Breathing exercises and a fun yoga sequence will be followed by a fun and educational "plant a seed" project to grow at home.

Becoming a mother challenged and encouraged her to delve even deeper into the realms of yoga as a means for self study, self reflection and self discovery. Her method is inspired by Iyengar yoga, a regular meditation practice, a sense of wonder and curiosity, and a desire to move and explore the body-mind-spirit connection in a safe, fun, and nurturing way. Breathing exercises and a fun yoga sequence will be followed by a fun and educational "plant a seed" project to grow at home.

Elena Zheleva is a certified Hatha yoga teacher through the Temple of Kriya Yoga in Chicago. Elena started her yoga journey in London 15 years ago in a community yoga class in a neighbourhood school. The after effects from that one class were profound. The light, the joy, and the sense of wholeness led her to seek yoga as a way of living. Becoming a mother challenged and encouraged her to delve even deeper into the realms of yoga as a means for self study, self reflection and self discovery. Her method is inspired by Iyengar yoga, a regular meditation practice, a sense of wonder and curiosity, and a desire to move and explore the body-mind-spirit connection in a safe, fun, and nurturing way. Elena is also a licensed massage therapist.

Lemuria was an ancient civilization which existed prior to and during the time of Atlantis between the years 4,500,000 BC to about 12,000 years ago. The Lemurian people were both highly evolved and very spiritual. The lands belonging to the gigantic continent of Lemuria included lands now under the Pacific Ocean as well as Hawaii, the Easter Islands, the Fiji Islands, Australia and New Zealand. Also lands in the Indian Ocean and Madagascar.
Lemurians lived in a fifth dimensional frequently or dimension and were able to switch back and forth from fifth to third at will by intention and energies from the heart.
